Member of FotoFoto Gallery.
Chosen as one of Long Island Pulse Magazine’s V.I.P. Artists.
Ellis Koch
Ellis Koch is a geologist whose deep connection to the Earth inspires his photography. Fascinated by the natural processes that shape our world—and the improbable beauty of life that emerged from them—Ellis uses his camera to explore the relationship between people and the planet. This exhibit marks his first public showing, sharing images that reflect both the grandeur of nature and the quiet moments of human connection to it.
Harvey Rock
As a young photographer, Harvey was fortunate to begin his journey with a hand-me-down 1940s-era rangefinder camera and an optical light meter. This hands-on experience helped him internalize the fundamental relationships between light, film speed, aperture, and shutter speed. His understanding deepened when he became captivated by Ansel Adams’ Zone System for exposure control as well as his striking compositions of nature. Harvey has long been drawn to travel photography, as well as the subtle, everyday patterns that emerge in nature.
Hal Rosen
Hal Rosen developed an interest in taking photographs when he was younger. The subject of nature and animals held a special interest for him. Over the years his interests included people and places he had seen while traveling with his wife, which gave them a lot of joy as they went down memory lane.
Joseph A. Vespe, MS, MBA
An avid photographer from an early age with his trusty Kodak “Brownie”, Joe has had the opportunity to travel the world for both business and personal pleasure. He is always on the lookout for architectural, natural and social subjects for that “Perfect Shot”.
