Inclement Weather Notice

Due to the upcoming inclement weather, the library is closed Sunday, February 22 and Monday, February 23.

All community groups and programs are canceled. All fitness classes except for Monday night Zumba will continue virtually.

Resident March/April Fitness Registration
has been moved to Wednesday, February 25 at 10:00 AM.

Non‑Resident Fitness Registration
has been moved to Thursday, February 26 at 10:00 AM.

Registration for all other March events
will continue on Tuesday, February 24 at 10:00 AM for adults and 6:00 PM for children and teens.

Please continue to check the website for delays and closures. 

Document Shredding & E-Waste - Melville Branch Parking Lot

Sunday, April 16
9 AM–12 PM (Melville Parking Lot) 

Paper Shredding 

  • Maximum of 3 boxes (standard size record storage box) or paper bags per person. 
  • Personal household documents ONLY. No business documents - no exceptions. 

E-Waste 

Items are disassembled, hard drive or data card removed, then shredded on site in trailer. Acceptable e-waste includes: 

  • Computer Towers 
  • Hard Drives 
  • Cell Phones
  • Discs
