Resident March/April Fitness Registration
has been moved to Wednesday, February 25 at 10:00 AM.

Non‑Resident Fitness Registration
has been moved to Thursday, February 26 at 10:00 AM.

Registration for all other March events
will continue on Tuesday, February 24 at 10:00 AM for adults and 6:00 PM for children and teens via hhhlibrary.org only.

What it is Hackathon:

Hackathons are a form of "invention marathon" where individuals, including high schoolers or middle schoolers, come together to solve problems or build new applications using technology.

Who participates:
High schoolers and middle schoolers of all levels, from beginners to experienced programmers, can participate.

How it works:
Participants form teams, brainstorm ideas, and work together to develop a project, often using programming languages like Java, Python, or other tools.

What's learned:
Hackathons offer an opportunity to learn new coding skills, collaborate with peers, and develop project management and communication skills.

Benefits:
Hackathons can provide a valuable learning experience and boost confidence, even for those who are just starting to learn to code.

Why Participate:

Hackathons can be a fun and engaging way to learn about technology, build a portfolio, and network with others . It is also good way to build kids experience for College applications.
