Inclement Weather Notice

Due to the upcoming inclement weather, the library is closed Sunday, February 22 and Monday, February 23.

All community groups and programs are canceled. All fitness classes except for Monday night Zumba will continue virtually.

Resident March/April Fitness Registration
has been moved to Wednesday, February 25 at 10:00 AM.

Non‑Resident Fitness Registration
has been moved to Thursday, February 26 at 10:00 AM.

Registration for all other March events
will continue on Tuesday, February 24 at 10:00 AM for adults and 6:00 PM for children and teens.

Please continue to check the website for delays and closures.

Presented by Tecumseh Ceaser, indigenous jewelry artist, cultural consultant, and North American Advisor for the Global Indigenous Youth Caucus at the United Nations 

Learn about Eastern woodlands tribes including NYC and Long Island tribes. Discuss the significance of Wampum, both as an ancient tradition and in a contemporary context.
