Inclement Weather Notice

Due to the upcoming inclement weather, the library is closed Sunday, February 22 and Monday, February 23.

All community groups and programs are canceled. All fitness classes except for Monday night Zumba will continue virtually.

Resident March/April Fitness Registration
has been moved to Wednesday, February 25 at 10:00 AM.

Non‑Resident Fitness Registration
has been moved to Thursday, February 26 at 10:00 AM.

Registration for all other March events
will continue on Tuesday, February 24 at 10:00 AM for adults and 6:00 PM for children and teens.

Meet at the Melville Building, 510 Sweet Hollow Road, Melville, NY 11747 at 8:30 AM

* Bus trip is rain or shine *

Cost: $150 (nonrefundable)

This combined bus and walking tour tells the story of West Point, its role in the Revolution, its famous history, along with stories of graduates who helped shape our nation. The tour stops at Cadet Chapel, the Plain, which is the Cadet academic area, Trophy Point with the million-dollar view overlooking the Hudson River. Lunch included at the historic Thayer Hotel. Open to all. 

Registration with a valid library card begins begins 7/11 at 10 AM. Payment for this program can be made online with a credit card or you may register in person at Dix Hills or Melville Circulation with cash, check or credit card.
