Inclement Weather Notice

Due to the upcoming inclement weather, the library is closed Sunday, February 22 and Monday, February 23.

All community groups and programs are canceled. All fitness classes except for Monday night Zumba will continue virtually.

Resident March/April Fitness Registration
has been moved to Wednesday, February 25 at 10:00 AM.

Non‑Resident Fitness Registration
has been moved to Thursday, February 26 at 10:00 AM.

Registration for all other March events
will continue on Tuesday, February 24 at 10:00 AM for adults and 6:00 PM for children and teens.

Cost: $40 (8 classes)

Enjoy the mobility and vitality that regular yoga can provide, while feeling supported in a chair. Alternate standing with seated poses. Modifications available. No floor work. 

This class will take place at 55 Vanderbilt Parkway. Registering for in-person classes reserves a spot in the class. Click on the link below to fill out the fitness waiver required to attend in-person classes.

Registration for residents with a valid library card begins 12/27 at 10 AM. Registration for non-residents begins 12/28 at 10 AM. Payment for this program can be made online with a credit card or you may register in person at Dix Hills or Melville Circulation with cash, check or credit card. 

Fees are nonrefundable. Fitness classes will not be prorated under any circumstances. Due to high demand, one registration per person per class.
