"I must admit that this book gave me much difficulty - it was, to me, a very difficult read as the subject matter was very peculiar. I participate in library book club, usually the 12noon one. But I was trying to branch out a little so I tried this book which was on the evening book club list for this past month. Since I hadn’t finished before the meeting, I decided not to participate as I didn’t want the ending to be disclosed to me. Now, I wish I had attended that book club meeting since I really didn’t understand this book at all.

"Another fascinating book by Kerriann. I love reading about LI's history and spirits who are still here. It gives me comfort knowing our loved ones are still here with us, only on a different plane. One chapter is about her Mom's families personal contacts in the Elmont house she grew up in- amazing! I Kerriann lives in Huntington and gives lectures at LI libraries. Her brother who was an officer in the army was stationed in New York City hadn’t been heard from in quite a long time. Cecilia didn’t like being alone in their big house. If her brother didn’t come home, the estate would pass to a cousin. She decides to board a ship going to NYC to find her brother. She doesn’t find her brother but finds his best friend in a hospital.
